With a new WABCO SmartBoard you can monitor and operate the trailer in a seamless way.
About WABCO SmartBoard
- The simple multilingual control pad allows the driver to access key trailer information and to operate available trailer braking and suspension functions even when uncoupled
- A ruggedized device mounted on the side of the trailer is linked directly to the Trailer EBS or Trailer ABS
- It enables access to data on axle load, mileage status, tire pressure and temperature, brake pad wear and Trailer EBS failure codes
- It receives Trailer EBS error codes when the truck is not connected to the trailer helping to optimize maintenance schedules
- It activates Trailer braking and suspension functions, such as WABCO’s OptiLevel™, OptiTurn™ and Immobilizer if available on the trailer

Choose the Right SmartBoard
In order to install the new SmartBoard you will need an adapter cable.
Therefore, there are 2 sets of SmartBoard with adapter cable created for you:

Seamless Installation
The new SmartBoard has the same mounting holes as the current SmartBoard (446 192 110 0 / 446 192 111 0). An adapter cable (896 600 074 2) connects the new SmartBoard to the subsystem harness.
A flash tool will be available in MyWABCO with below functions:
- To load a customized image as splash screen (Shown at each start of the SmartBoard)
- Update of the SmartBoard firmware to future versions
- To Adapt the language of the SmartBoard.for the first usage by the customer (further languages can be selected later in the SmartBoard menu)
Connect with Diagnostic Software? Yes!
The new SmartBoard can be connected to TEBS E directly without parameterization via Diagnostic Software on the SmartBoard.
Compatibility with Old Vehicles
The new SmartBoard can be connected to TEBS E5 or later version. The usage of the new SmartBoard connected to vehicles with TEBS E3 (or older) is not released by WABCO. We recommend then the usage of the current SmartBoard (446 192 110 0 or 446 192 111 0)
NOTE! Current SmartBoard will be phased out from OE market
The current SmartBoard (446 192 110 0 and 446 192 111 0) will be withdrawn from OE market in March 2021 and will be available afterwards for Aftermarket only.
