In this training, you will deepen your knowledge of compressed-air braking systems. The training is aimed at people from the commercial vehicle environment as well as drivers of commercial vehicles.
The following topics and learning objectives are addressed:
- Verification of an ALB setting on the basis of the information on the ALB sticker
- Setup of an ABS control loop
- Differences between a conventional compressed-air braking system and an electronically controlled EBS braking system and its operation in principle
- Information on the EBS system sign check mode
- Working on models and the EBS simulation program
- Explanation of legal requirements according to ECE-R13
After the training, you will know the difference between a conventional compressed-air braking system and an electronically controlled braking system (EBS) in commercial vehicles, buses, and towed vehicles. You can check a towed vehicle with WABCO EBS on the roller test bench and an ALB setting correctly.
Note: You do not receive PIN authorization for WABCO diagnosis systems.
In addition, we recommend our EBS E basics eLearning for preparation and follow-up.
