This training is aimed at learners of the EFZ (automotive specialist) and EFZ (automotive mechatronics engineer) in the third or fourth year of basic education.
The following topics and learning objectives are addressed:- Explanation of compressed air brake diagrams and various illustration models
- Work and measurements on the compressed air brake wall
- Explanation of legal requirements according to ECE-R13
- Design and operation of the EU compressed air braking system in trucks and towed vehicles
- Basic knowledge of ABS systems
After the training, you can describe the structure and operation of the EU compressed air braking system in trucks and towed vehicles and have basic knowledge of the ABS systems.
In addition and as preparation, we recommend to do our Basic Knowledge Air Brake eLearning.
