The following topics and learning objectives are covered:
- Structure and mode of operation of the WABCO T-EBS E generations and the EBS components (also for the additional functions) in trailers
- Practical part 1: Install WABCO T-EBS E braking systems in training trailers using WABCO brake diagrams for drawbar trailers and semitrailers and perform a functional test
- ECU internal functions and PC diagnosis
- GIO functions (freely programmable INPUTS/OUTPUTS)
- Integrated electronically controlled air suspension (ECAS) and extended lifting axle functions
- Development of GIO schemes for ITP functions (Intelligent Trailer Program)
- Independently create data record (parameters) of the various functions on the training PC
- Practical part 2: Using GIO schemes and brake schemes, installing brake systems on training trailers with conventional air suspension, e.g. with rotary slide valve TASC (RTR function), lifting axle controls and performing commissioning
- Inspection of the systems with WABCO PC diagnosis
- External systems, e.g. electronic extension module, TailGuard and OptiLink
- Practical part 3: Perform installation and parameterization of T-EBS E systems including the ECAS integrated in the EBS, calibration of the ECAS height sensors and commissioning of the system
- Perform parameterization and commissioning of TailGuard rear compartment monitoring
