Prerequisites
- One of the following training courses is required: Company or master examination as a motor vehicle/automotive mechanic or electrician, body and vehicle manufacturer, metal builder (specialization in automotive engineering) or agricultural machinery mechanic or Dipl.-Ing, Dipl.-Ing. (FH), Ing. (degree) of mechanical engineering or mechanical engineering at least in the field of automotive engineering
- Successful SP basic training
- The time interval between the date of the initial applicant and repeater SP training course may be max. 36 months. If more than 38 months are exceeded, a 4-day SP course is required for first-time applicants
In addition:- Basic knowledge air brake (classroom training or eLearning)
- EBS motor vehicle training (classroom training)
- EBS trailer training C/D; C/D/E; E (classroom training or eLearning)

Trainingsinhoud en DoelenRepeat training for the performance of the SP safety examination (with theoretical and practical final examination) according to § 29 StVZO and Annexes VIII to the StVZO.
The following topics and learning objectives are dealt with:- Legal basics of safety testing
- Performing a visual inspection
- Perform a specification test as well as an interface test with the SP adapter
- Function and testing of compressed air braking systems
- Electronic braking system (EBS)
- Effect test on the roller test bench
- Practical implementation of a safety test on the vehicle
After completing the training, you can implement the latest procedures in the administrative and operational implementation of the safety test (SP).
