This training session describes the operation of the E-generation of the electronically controlled braking system (EBS) in trailers as well as the differences between the new E-generation and the previous systems. This training is aimed at foremen and mechanics from forwarding companies, transport authorities or other companies as well as employees whose last T-EBS E training is older than 3 years.
The following topics and learning objectives are covered:
- Intelligent trailer program (ITP functions)
- Braking functions, general functions and function modules
- GIO functions (freely programmable INPUTS/OUTPUTS)
- External systems, e.g. electronic extension module, TailGuard and OptiLink
- Development of GIO schemes for ITP functions
- Independently create data record (parameters) of the various functions on the training PC
- Practical work: parameterization, calibration and commissioning of trailer EBS-E systems
- Check the system using the WABCO system diagnosis
- Handling of operating data memory (ODR) and evaluation
- Perform parameterization and commissioning of TailGuard rear compartment monitoring
