The course aims to provide the layout and components of the electronically controlled braking system related to towed vehicles for T EBS generations C/D to E6.51. The comparison between the EBS C/D/E, the new generic I/O functions and the integration with ECAS. This represents an integrated electronic system for the permanent management of the braking system and its safety.
The contents of the course are as follows:
- Evolution of T EBS systems from C2 to D plus
- Double Brake Valve + R.E.V. Emergency Relay Valve
- Load and pressure sensor and their function
- Separate ECAS paired with T EBS D
- Inductive level sensor
- P.R.E.V. Emergency and Parking Relay Valve
- Evolution of systems from T EBS from E0 to E6.0
- System structure and new connectors/wiring
- Description of the TEBS-E modulator
- Possibility of generic G-I/O, Special Functions and Sub-Systems configurations
- ECAS integration into the T EBS-E
- Steering axle management, lifting axles, Traction Help, OptiTurn and OptiLoad functions
- RSS and Tilt Ale anti-tip functions
- PEM Pneumatic Extension Module
- Diagnosis on CAN 24V ISO11992 or GIO5 line (CAN 5V)
