In this training, you will learn all important basics of an EBS compressed air braking system. This training is aimed at people from the commercial and agricultural vehicle environment.

The following topics and learning objectives are addressed:

• Electrical supply for trailers according to ISO7638
• Component knowledge
• Consideration of the various operating states of an EBS system as well as the diagnosis options
• Procedure for a brake test
• Read an EBS system sign
• Work on the EBS model

After the training, you will be familiar with the difference between a conventional compressed-air braking system and an electronically controlled EBS braking system and its function. You can correctly interpret the information on the EBS system sign and know how to properly test a towed vehicle with WABCO EBS on the roller test bench, diagnose an EBS system and correctly assess any malfunctions except for a few special cases and correct errors with existing WABCO diagnosis equipment.
